Job Profile Summary The eGRC Product Owner I is responsible for ensuring that a development team (pod) creates value for the organization through the delivery of stakeholder-focused product increments. This includes aligning with other Product Owners and senior management to follow a product vision, creating and maintaining a prioritized product backlog, managing delivery blockers, and continuously assessing stakeholder feedback. The Product Owner I should always consider how to maximize value, assess how the product or the delivery process can be continuously improved, contribute to a positive work environment, and ensure that work embodies the Agile principles of transparency, collaboration, and engagement.
Depth & Scope Key subject matter expert professional role requiring substantial knowledge/expertise in a complex field and knowledge of broader related areas
Accountable for specialized product development support based on sound product expertise and knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes, roles and practices
Integrates knowledge of the enterprise sub‑function’s or business line’s overarching strategy in developing solutions across multiple functions or operations
Interprets internal/external business challenges and the industry setting, recommends course of action and best practices to improve products, processes or services
Leads and integrates cross‑function understanding within own field of specialty,



and/or projects with significant resource requirements, risk and/or complexity
Solves or leads others to solve complex problems; leads efforts or partners with others to develop new solutions
Uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify solutions
Impacts the achievement of sub‑function or business line objectives within the area they are accountable for
Communicates difficult concepts; converts information to compelling business context and advice; influences and gains alignment across increasingly senior stakeholders
Works autonomously as the lead and guides others within area of expertise
Education & Experience Undergraduate degree and/or product certificate
7+ years relevant experience
3‑5 years Product Owner or Agile related delivery experience
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification and project management experience considered an asset
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications or experience operating in scaled agile delivery considered an asset
Strongly Preferred Qualification Experience in eGRC / Non‑Financial Risk Product Management at a large Financial Institution or G‑SIB, supporting one or more of the following programs:
Issue Management
Incident / Event Management
RCSA
Business Continuity Management
Operational Resilience
Compliance Risk Assessment
Laws, Rules, Regulations Management / Regulatory Change Management
Policy Management
Monitoring and Testing
Product / Service Risk Management
AML Risk Assessment
Exam Management
