Mentor Health & Addictions – Counselor II (Workplace Support Programs)
Location: Vancouver or Victoria, BC. Employment Type: Permanent (Part‑time or Full‑time, Flexible FTE available).

Role Overview
Reporting to the WSP team manager, you will provide in‑person and remote counseling services, conduct mental health and substance use assessments, develop treatment recommendations, and deliver interventions to support employees’ return to healthy productivity.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work.

Minimum of 5 years post‑graduate clinical experience.

Registration with a Professional College or Association (BCACC, CCC, or BCCSW).

Strongly developed substance use, trauma, mental health assessment and diagnostic skills.

Ability to adapt to clinical supervision.

Ability to assess all types of psycho‑social disorders and develop treatment plans.

Knowledge of clinical assessment tools.

Proficient in writing clear and concise clinical reports.

Experience with mandated clients.

Basic knowledge of BC community resources and case management skills.

Competency with computer skills, MS Office.

Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Excellent time‑management skills.

Ability to work in person,



remotely and collaborate within a team environment.

Past experience or familiarity with substance use assessments is a strong asset.

Salary Range: CAD 58,100.00 – 107,900.00 per year. Actual total compensation will be determined based on knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location.
