Operations Support Services Training Facilitator
Canadian Public Safety Operations Organization
Full‑time, Permanent, 1 position
Annual salary: $72,250.10 - $86,965.58 per year (based on experience)
Location: Regina, with regular travel to Prince Albert. 1950 hours annually. Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with an earned day off every three weeks.
Responsibilities
Prepare, deliver, and evaluate classroom training for Provincial Emergency Communications Center programs that support employee development and organizational effectiveness.
Ensure engaging, interactive, and practical learning experiences that enhance skills, knowledge, and performance.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, leadership, and team members to assess training needs, develop curriculum, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Execute staff training initiatives across the PECC, including current hire onboarding, cross‑training, remedial training,
new technology/policy instruction, and continued education.
Prepare and deliver APCO certified courses related to the communications centre and organization.
Qualifications
Minimum of three years’ experience in Public Safety Telecommunications or an equivalent combination of education and experience obtained in another suitable manner.
Certification as a Training Instructor specializing in adult education.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Related post‑secondary education, training, or certification in adult education, facilitation, instructional design, communications, emergency services, public safety, or a related area considered an asset.
Working Conditions
Office‑based at PECC South in Regina with regular travel to PECC North office in Prince Albert.
