Step into a pivotal Senior Accountant position with Newcomer Women’s Services in North York, Ontario. This full-time, in-person role is essential for supporting financial integrity and compliance within the organization.

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Finance and Administration, you will engage in complex reconciliations, support financial reporting, and guide the finance team through monthly and yearly processes. This role demands meticulous attention to detail as you manage not-for-profit fund accounting, oversee cash flow, and track funding compliance for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate year-end accounting and reporting processes
• Oversee accounts payable and ensure accurate postings




• Monitor cash flows while implementing financial policies
• Prepare timely financial reports for management and board
• Assist with funding compliance and related documentation

Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in finance or business
• CPA or working towards certification
• 4 years of not-for-profit finance experience
• Knowledge of CRA reporting and regulations
• Robust communication and leadership abilities
