We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced English-speaking In-Home Caregiver to provide quality care and companionship for a senior living with dementia in a private home in Chelsea, Quebec.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting an individual in maintaining comfort, dignity, and quality of life in a safe, familiar environment.

Responsibilities
Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
Provide assistance with toileting and hygiene
Prepare light meals and snacks
Offer companionship, conversation, and meaningful social engagement
Monitor for safety and help maintain a clean, secure, and caring setting
Observe changes in health or behaviour and communicate concerns as needed
Provide respectful, patient, and person-centred dementia care
A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are an asset. Occasional transportation to and from a music program at Bruyère Continuing Care may be required (mileage to be reimbursed at 0.73/km)

Qualifications




Experience caring for seniors, particularly individuals living with dementia, is preferred
Fluent in English (this is an English-language position)
Compassionate, reliable, patient, and attentive
Valid Vulnerable Sector Check
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Legally authorized to work in Canada

Part-time schedule of 20–30 hours per week; flexibility possible for the right candidate
Compensation starting from $22.00/hour, negotiable based on experience
