Overview

We are seeking a friendly and skilled person to join our hospitality team as a Host/Hostess. The ideal candidate will serve as the welcoming face of our excellent restaurant, ensuring guests have a positive first impression and a memorable dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a warm demeanor, a big smile and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently.

Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The Host/Hostess plays a vital role in maintaining smooth operations and delivering exceptional customer service in a quick-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations with professionalism and courtesy
Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or the restaurant in general
Manage waitlists and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
Handle phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations or general questions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area




Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service flow
Assist guests with special requests or accommodations, ensuring their needs are met promptly
Operate POS systems such as Micros POS and Open Table for reservations or seating management when required
Uphold brand standards by providing attentive service and fostering a welcoming atmosphere

Good organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow effectively

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends ,including holidays, as needed
