Division: Facilities
Position Overview
The Maintenance position inspects the facility for equipment, furnishings or other areas that are in need of repair. The position reports to the MaintenanceSupervisor.

Job Functions

Ensure public areas aremaintained.

Complete maintenance repairs andreplacement of items as required.

Complete repairs to ensurefacilities, furnishings and equipment are in good repair and in good workingorder.

Provide maintenance or repairs forexterior and grounds, including repair in parking lots, signage, painting,maintenance for equipment (eg; snowblowers,



lawn mower etc.), gardening, andassisting with snow/ice removal.

Ensure that work is done toregulations, standards and/or policies of the casino.

Requirements

Experience in maintenance andapplicable training.

Professional knowledge orcertification in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical equipment, watertreatment and landscaping (preferred).

Experience in managing anddirecting the work of others.

Good client service skills.

Able to work independently, with minimaldirection.

Good English communication skills.

Valid WHMIS certificate, familiarwith Health & Safety, fire and building codes.

Other Skills/Abilities

Must be physically capable ofwalking or standing for long periods, some lifting, bending or other physicalactivities to complete work is required.

Available on call or after hours,on occasion.
