Responsibilities

Maintain and repair electrical systems across airport buildings and infrastructure

Inspect and service airfield lighting systems to ensure regulatory compliance

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults quickly and effectively





Install and replace electrical equipment, including panels, relays, and lighting systems

Interpret drawings and electrical codes to support installations and repairs

Support HVAC and control system electrical components

Coordinate and oversee contractors performing specialized inspections or repairs

Execute preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime

Qualifications

Red Seal Electrician certification with completed 5‑year apprenticeship

Minimum 2+ years of experience in maintenance or similar environments

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across electrical systems

Experience with control systems, HVAC, or industrial environments

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and codes

Valid Class 5 driver’s license

Ability to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance

Nice to Have

Airfield lighting experience or certification
