Coordinator, Health & Safety (Ongoing, Full-time)

The Health & Safety Coordinator is responsible for monitoring workplace safety, developing and executing health and safety plans and procedures to assess risk and adherence to regulations, preparing and enforcing policies, and implementing safety training plans for employees. The role collaborates with Learner Services, Facilities Manager and Program Supervisors to develop program‑specific practices, procedures and training to ensure staff and student safety.

Responsibilities
Oversee workplace safety monitoring and risk assessment.

Develop and execute health and safety plans and procedures.

Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.

Implement safety training plans for employees.





Collaborate with internal departments to develop program‑specific practices.

Contribute to safe and healthy operations as a member of Corporate Services Team.

Qualifications

Relevant post‑secondary diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Canadian Registered Safety Qualified designation.

Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.

Experience working in a cross‑cultural environment.

WHMIS 2015, WCB, OHC Certification and/or VTRA Certification an asset.

Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License.

Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
