Position Title : Sr Analyst, Digital Marketing
Status : Permanent, Full Time
Rate : $66,820 - $77,957
Work Location : Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office at 2085 Hurontario Street with occasional work at hospital sites – Mississauga, Credit Valley Hospital and Queensway Health Centre sites.
THE ROLE
The Senior Analyst, Digital Marketing will drive measurable growth and achieve business objectives through strategic, data‑driven digital marketing initiatives. This role focuses on optimizing online marketing campaigns across various channels to maximize return on investment, ensuring data integrity, and providing cross‑organization reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with Marketing Managers and Business Partners to shape digital campaign strategy by delivering data‑driven insights, forecasting outcomes, and aligning initiatives with business objectives.
Lead the performance analysis and optimization of multi‑channel campaigns (paid media, SEO, social, web, and email), driving continuous improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
Define, track, and evolve KPIs (e.g., CTR, conversion rate, ROI), ensuring consistent measurement frameworks across all digital initiatives.
Leverage analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics and related tools) to evaluate campaign performance, customer behavior, and channel effectiveness, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with external media agencies to optimize targeting, creative performance, and budget allocation, ensuring maximum return on marketing investment.
Design and manage structured experimentation frameworks, including A/B and multivariate testing, to improve conversion rates and inform scalable best practices.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions that provide clear visibility into performance, trends,
and opportunities for campaigns.
Conduct advanced analysis of customer journeys, segmentation, and behavioral data to inform personalization and lifecycle marketing strategies.
Deliver comprehensive campaign reporting, including performance insights, key learnings, and forward‑looking recommendations to enhance future initiatives.
Oversee budget pacing and allocation across channels, proactively identifying opportunities to reallocate spend for optimal performance.
Work with media agency on optimizing campaign budgets to maximize ROI.
Act as a digital analytics expert within the marketing team, mentoring and consulting stakeholders and fostering a data‑driven decision‑making culture.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with the Data, Innovation, and Integration team to enhance tracking frameworks, ensure data integrity, and improve analytics infrastructure.
Communicate insights and performance narratives effectively to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activity to continuously evolve digital marketing strategies and capabilities.
Qualifications
Digital Marketing Analytics degree preferred or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
5–7+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics, with a focus on performance marketing.
Solid understanding of SEO/AEO optimization strategies and analysis.
Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Tag Manager, and conversion tracking.
Proven track record in optimizing digital fundraising campaigns, ideally for NFPs.
Experience in analyzing multi‑channel donor acquisition and retention campaigns.
Solid Excel and data analysis skills.
Preferred experience in social media reporting, using platforms like Hootsuite.
Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Experience with CRM databases, especially for non‑profit marketing purposes (e.g., Blackbaud) preferred.
Creative thinker with excellent attention to detail and a results‑driven mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
