As a key member of the Short Range Mine Planning Team, you will impact the safety and functionality of mining operations. Your collaborative efforts with Operations, Geotech, and Environmental teams will drive the execution of effective Mine Execution Plans. This position is ideal for engineers energized by real-time problem-solving in oil sands production.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to all safety standards in mining
• Assist in creating detailed mine plans for efficient execution
• Monitor production objectives and design shovel strategies




• Prepare dig limits for Minestar system integration
• Prepare visual plans for technical leadership teams

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Civil, or Geological Engineering
• Skilled Engineer designation or Member in Training
• Over 2 years in mine planning or engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Comfortable with a remote work rotational schedule
