Job Description
The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating and planning the production schedules for CFM’s manufacturing operations. This role ensures that all production processes are executed efficiently, resources are utilized optimally, and delivery deadlines are met. The Production Planner collaborates closely with various departments, including procurement, engineering, and logistics, to align production plans with overall company objectives. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Estimating & Job Scoping: Review opportunities, assess scope, conduct site visits, perform quantity take-offs, develop labor/equipment/material estimates, identify risks, assumptions, and exclusions, and support bid submissions.
Work Planning & Execution Preparation: Develop work packages, execution plans, task sequencing, job procedures, manpower plans, schedules, material lists, and shutdown/outage plans to ensure work is ready before mobilization.
Resource, Material & Schedule Coordination: Coordinate labor requirements, equipment, tooling, and materials with Operations, Procurement, and Field Supervision. Monitor schedule changes and ensure readiness of resources.
Field Execution Support & Performance Management: Support field teams during execution, resolve planning issues, track actual vs. planned performance, manage scope changes, and capture lessons learned.
Safety, Risk & Continuous Improvement: Integrate safety requirements into plans, perform risk assessments, support JHAs and critical task planning, maintain planning standards, and drive process improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering
Manufacturing Engineering
Business Administration or a related field
Salary range: $61,000 - $85,000
