Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Intake Coordinator to join our agile healthcare team. Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
Collect accurate patient information using electronic medical records systems and verify insurance details
Schedule appointments efficiently, balancing patient needs with provider availability
Obtain and document detailed medical histories, presenting concerns and documentation.
Explain intake procedures clearly and answer patient questions with care, clarity compassion.
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure all necessary documentation is complete prior to appointments
Maintain organized records of patient interactions,



ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations

Experience
A diploma or degree in human services is preferred.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and office management software is essential
Knowledge of psychological and medical terminology to accurately understand and document patient information
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a positive, energetic attitude
Previous human services experience, saviness with Google Workspace and managing senstivie information is a must.
