Job Overview
Responsible for the day to day execution of tasks and will be involved in the planning for the direction of their department. Achieve budgeted goals related to sales, margin, expenses, and inventory and execute sales strategies that support the Local Co-ops vision. Achieve established objectives in terms of brand, service levels, quality, timeliness of delivery and identify areas for improvement. Foster a positive work workplace that enables the pursuit of desired results. Focus on growing sales of ag equipment (bins, augers, livestock equipment, fuel tanks and poly tanks) and achieving agreed upon sales targets, while also maintaining new and existing customers. Operate forklift as required. Travel is required within sales area.
Requirements
Grade 12 is preferred. Must hold valid class 5 licence, clean drivers abstract, able to read a map and follow specific instructions. Position classified as a Safety Sensitive Position: therefore, is subject to pre‑employment Alcohol & Substance testing as a condition of employment. Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
