Job Description
Manager, Commercial Launch is responsible for the overall successful commercialization of large‑scale New Product Introduction (NPI) projects in Canada. Successful commercialization is defined as flawless execution for on‑time, on‑target delivery of NPIs to a primed marketplace. The role includes tactical execution and management of the pre‑launch and post‑launch commercialization process from initial concept through sustained marketplace viability, working with cross‑functional teams. Responsibilities include identifying, signaling, and resolving issues; preemptively mitigating risks; coordinating, validating, executing, auditing and communicating launch status updates; and serving as the passionate and engaged expert and voice of product launches to internal and external audiences.
What you’ll do
Execute, manage, and elevate New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, including review and refinement of launch scope and timing.
Manage all aspects of project management on a day‑to‑day basis across all functions of the commercialization process, leveraging centralized web‑based project management platforms.
Track milestones and deliverables, signal obstacles, and proactively mitigate risk.
Communicate NPI product benefits, line‑ups, launch timing, and details to all audiences.
Provide timely, accurate, actionable reporting to stakeholders, customers, and executives by collecting, analyzing, validating, and cascading status reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
Drive, support, communicate, and elevate the transition planning process to continually improve phase‑out of previous generation and phase‑in of NPI.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to strategize solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Work with internal, external,
and third‑party teams as needed to meet delivery needs for key initiatives.
Collaborate with leadership to define and implement plans for improvement and to drive results and outcomes.
Articulate goals to the project team on an ongoing basis.
Motivate integrated and cross‑functional teams to exceed goals.
Serve as the primary source of information for all aspects of active projects.
Continue to strengthen project management within Commercialization through ongoing review and evaluation of project management and Agile practices.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in durable consumer goods commercialization, sales, and/or marketing.
Proficiency in Workfront, Microsoft Office 365, and web‑based project management platforms.
Excellent comprehension of all aspects of business model, including product development, project management, transition planning, trade marketing, digital marketing, B2C/B2B, programming/technology, content management, and systems integration.
Expert knowledge of industry‑standard trends and ability to adapt and implement best practices in project management.
Passion for continuous improvement and flawless execution.
Qualifications
Advanced analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, including critical thinking and insight generation.
Timely decision‑making, data‑driven trend spotting,
and application of sound risk‑management principles.
Outstanding written and oral communication and decision‑making skills, with the ability to propagate information promptly, clearly, and unambiguously.
Ability to work with others to achieve common goals, resolve conflicts, and manage cross‑functional and external relationships.
Demonstrated ability to manage and influence without authority.
Superior analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently to manage multiple projects simultaneously while performing under pressure.

Expected compensation includes a base salary of $110,000 to $125,000 per year, with final compensation dependent on experience, skills, and education.
