Data-Intensive Astrophysics Platform (CanDIAPL) is seeking an Astronomical Software Developer for a three-year term. You will collaborate with an international research team to create software that facilitates the remote viewing of multi-messenger astrophysical data.
Key responsibilities include developing software pipelines for scientific data transfers and managing repositories that support advanced astronomical data usage. Key Responsibilities:
Co-develop software infrastructure for CanDIAPL servers
Create a portal for remote data viewing
Develop automated data transfer pipelines from MeerKAT telescope
Maintain software for data retrieval from various astronomical sources
Ensure productive data transfer to CanDIAPL servers Requirements:
Experience in astronomical data processing
