Job Summary

We are seeking a polished, trustworthy, and customer-focused Front of House Jewellery Sales Associate. This role is the face of the store, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, coordinating jewellery repairs, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

- Greet and assist customers in a professional and welcoming manner
- Provide knowledgeable guidance on jewellery pieces, custom orders, and services
- Build trust and long-term relationships with clients
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Upsell and cross-sell where appropriate

Repairs & Special Orders

- Receive jewellery repairs and special orders with attention to detail
- Accurately document repair intake, condition, pricing, and timelines
- Communicate clearly with the workshop/goldsmith regarding repair details
- Notify customers when repairs or orders are completed and ready for pickup

Daily Operations

- Open and close the store following security procedures
- Balance the day: cash, POS transactions, invoices, and daily sales reports
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable showroom
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage customer follow-ups

Client Communication

- Call, text, or email customers regarding repairs, orders, and updates
- Follow up on quotes, pending sales, and special requests
- Maintain accurate customer records in the system

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous retail or sales experience (jewellery experience an asset)




- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of honesty, reliability, and attention to detail
- Comfortable handling high-value items and cash transactions
- Basic computer and POS system proficiency
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
