We are seeking an experienced Mobile Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty equipment in the field. If you’re self-motivated, reliable, and enjoy working independently with strong technical skills, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Perform mobile repairs and maintenance on loaders, excavators, dozers, rollers, rock trucks, and crushers
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs and timelines
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Requirements
Red Seal Certified (3rd and 4th year considered)
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently in a mobile workplace
Valid driver’s license
Own basic hand tools (specialty tools provided, if applicable)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
Red Seal Certificate
Experience with a wide range of heavy equipment
Welding or fabrication experience
Computer/diagnostic software experience
