Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Airport & Infrastructure Manager, the Airport Custodian is responsible for maintaining the Airport Terminal building (ATB); sweeping, washing and waxing floors; removal of slush, water and other obstacles from the ATB floors; operating tools and equipment necessary to maintain the ATB; perform minor maintenance; erecting and removing decorations; washing windows,



walls and ATB furniture; collecting and removing garbage and recyclables; keeping the store room/custodian room clean and orderly; listing, ordering and receiving supplies necessary for carrying out duties; performs other related duties as assigned, including contract cleaning for ATB tenants; cleaning the bathroom and lunchroom in the maintenance shop, and other TRAA offices/buildings outside of the ATB.

Qualifications
Grade 12 education with experience in custodial equipment, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Ability to operate various types of electric cleaning equipment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with airport employees and other airport staff.
Be physically able to perform the work required.
Valid driver's license.
