Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Food Preparation Worker to join our team. This role involves assisting in the preparation and serving of food in a fast-paced setting, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, cooking, and food service, with a solid focus on meal preparation and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation, including mixing, and assembling ingredients for meals
Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
Support cooking activities by assisting chefs or kitchen staff during meal service
Ensure all food is stored properly and inventory levels are maintained
Adhere to food safety regulations and restaurant policies at all times




Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment and utensils after use

Requirements
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and valuable communication abilities
Experience with serving or customer service is a plus
Food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate
