Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role offers an chance to develop hospitality skills in a quick-paced environment, with responsibilities that include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and managing guest interactions efficiently.

Prior experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained in accordance with health regulations
Assist with food preparation and kitchen support when necessary




Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including table setup and sanitation procedures
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience

Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for those current to the industry
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
Basic math skills for handling payments, bills, and upselling opportunities
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Experience with food industry operations including serving, cashiering, and food preparation is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
