Full time Responsibilities include:
To work as part of a team in a residential program
Supervision and monitoring of clients
Teach Functional living skills
Behaviour Management
Assist clients with daily routines, including personal care
Plan/ Implement individualized programs that encompass a person-centred approach
Provide community orienteering and leisure activities
Conduct appointments as needed
Administer medication
Data collection and documentation
Shared responsibility for household tasks
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Participate in all scheduled staff training programs
Hours of work are based on a schedule that includes weekends and evenings

Qualifications/Experience:
Post-secondary certificate in CYW, DSW, SSW, or equivalent and/or related University degree/ experience
Knowledge and experience in Mental Health, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Developmental Challenges
CPI training an asset
Valuable team building skills




Good interactive/ communication skills (verbal and written)
Good organization and time management skills
Driver's License an asset to assist with appointments, community programming, etc

This position is entitled to the starting base rate of $22.00/ hour + $3.00 wage enhancement Oakdale Child and Family Service values diversity in the workplace.
