Salary Range
$52,218 annually (with wage increments to a max of $58,304).
Salary and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
The Opportunity
Are you a highly organized problem-solver who enjoys working behind the scenes to support student success?
As one of Douglas College’s Scheduling Coordinators, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the College’s course and exam schedules. Working with systems such as Banner and Infosilem, you will coordinate the development and maintenance of course schedules, support enrolment processes, and create institution-wide exam schedules that serve thousands of students each semester.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex data, solving logistical challenges, and collaborating with a wide range of interest holders. You will partner closely with folks across the College to ensure schedules are accurate and aligned with institutional policies and deadlines.
As a scheduling subject matter expert, you will be responsible for maintaining data integrity within key enterprise systems, troubleshooting complex scheduling and registration issues, and balancing competing priorities to support the development and data entry of a comprehensive course and exam schedule.
Success in this position requires strong analytical thinking, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.

What It Takes
Education and Experience
- A minimum of one-year of post-secondary education in computer systems or a related field at a recognized post-secondary institution; and,
- A minimum of one-year recent experience in course scheduling and computerized student information systems at a recognized post-secondary institution.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency with database and enterprise systems, including the ability to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a high degree of accuracy in a complex scheduling environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and perform effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, navigate challenging conversations with professionalism and diplomacy, and provide effective service to diverse stakeholders across the College.

- This regular full-time (35 hours per week) position is available starting August 31, 2026. Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00 pm.
- Shift days and times may change depending on the Department’s need. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required.
