Who We Are

Rekker Gardens is a family owned and operated company located in Bowmanville with a total of 20 acres of greenhouses split between two locations. We have been a trusted retailer and wholesaler of ornamentals for over 55 years, each year supplying a wide variety of quality bedding plants, hanging baskets and planters to customers all throughout Ontario.

Position

We are seeking reliable DZ or G class Truck Drivers to join our team for the seasonal transport of live plants. This position is available from mid April to June, mid August to mid October, mid November to December. This position is versatile with full time and part-time positions available and the option to work days and/or nights.

Key Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently transport live plants to various customer locations within Ontario
Handle and unload shipping racks using a tailgate
Working with receiving staff in a polite,



courteous and respectful manner
Inspect the truck before, during and after trips
Maintain accurate documentation, including driver logs and inspection sheets
Complete and return necessary delivery documents such as signed invoices

Qualifications
Valid DZ or G class driver’s license
Proven driving experience with a clean drivers abstract
Ability to pull and maneuver shipping racks from truck while operating a tailgate
Robust verbal and written communication skills in English
Solid work ethic and positive attitude

Schedule
Adaptable (Part Time or Full Time)
Day Shift and/or Night Shift

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
