Rodd Moncton Hotel is looking for a friendly, professional, and service-oriented individual to join our Front Desk Team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a quick-paced environment, and is committed to creating a welcoming and memorable experience for guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Welcome, register, and assist guests in a courteous and efficient manner while following Rodd Hotels & Resorts Standards
Provide exceptional guest service and respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns
Accept, confirm, modify, and cancel reservations while communicating relevant information to other hotel departments
Maintain accurate guest accounts and follow established guest credit and payment procedures
Maximize room revenue by identifying opportunities to recommend room types, rates, packages, and hotel services
Maintain a robust knowledge of the hotel, amenities, packages, events, local attractions, and other Rodd properties
Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
Maintain Front Desk supplies and equipment and ensure the work area remains organized and professional




Respond appropriately to emergency situations in accordance with hotel procedures
Complete other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors or management

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Positive, professional attitude and a genuine enjoyment of working with people
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
Comfortable using computers and adaptable to use new software; knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is an asset
Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset but is not required
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
