Meezan School is a non-profit, community-based religious school located in the City of Guelph. Our school provides a comprehensive education for students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8.

We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic full-time homeroom teacher to join our team and help create a creative, engaging, and supportive learning environment for our students this September.

Duties
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements.
Teach students using a variety of engaging and interactive instructional methods.
Assess and evaluate student learning and provide constructive feedback.
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom setting.
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to enhance learning experiences.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behaviour.
Participate in career development opportunities to remain current with effective teaching practices.




Manage the classroom effectively and promote a respectful and positive learning environment.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Valid teaching certification or related qualifications.
Strong knowledge of subject matter and Ontario curriculum standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, flexibility, and adaptability in the classroom.
Strong classroom management skills.
Experience working with diverse student populations is an asset.
