ACCOUNTING MANAGER

We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a well-established public accounting firm. This is a leadership-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys managing client relationships, mentoring teams, and delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services.

The right candidate brings a robust technical background, a collaborative leadership style, and hands-on experience in public accounting.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee multiple client engagements, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery
Review accounting, tax, and financial statements prepared by team members
Lead, mentor, and support junior and intermediate staff, fostering professional growth
Coordinate workflow, deadlines, and resource planning across engagements
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance and resolving inquiries
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
Contribute to process improvements and support best practices across the firm

Must-Have Qualifications
CPA designation (required)




Previous experience working in public accounting (required)
Proven people management experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development

Preferred Skills & Experience
Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment
Solid attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
