Vancouver Coastal Health is hiring a permanent Family Practice Physician for Sechelt Hospital, focusing on inpatient care and emergency medicine shifts. Become a vital part of our healthcare team. In this full time role, the Family Practice and Emergency Medicine Physician will provide inpatient services and cover emergency shifts as needed.

You'll manage recent patient admissions, conduct daily rounding, and respond to urgent medical situations in collaboration with peers. A solid commitment to integrating your acute care practice is essential as you contribute to our medical community. Key Responsibilities:
Admit unassigned patients from the ED
Conduct patient rounding and stabilization daily
Respond to urgent, non-code patient needs
Participate in on-call rotations as needed
Cover multiple ER shifts per month Requirements:
Mandatory ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
Full CPSBC license required
Prior experience in emergency settings
Preferred: CCFP in Emergency Medicine
