Overview

We are seeking an experienced Shingler to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in roofing, with a focus on shingling, and possess a variety of related skills to ensure high-quality work and safety on job sites.

Responsibilities
Install shingles and roofing materials according to project specifications and safety standards
Use hand tools such as hammers, nail guns, and utility knives to perform roofing tasks efficiently
Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely and effectively
Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and durability of roofing systems
Maintain a clean and organized work setting, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines

Qualifications




Proven experience as a shingler or in roofing installation with a solid understanding of roofing techniques
Construction experience with a focus on carpentry, handyman skills, or general building trades preferred
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing work
Experience with caulking, sealing, and waterproofing methods in roofing applications
Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
Solid attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork skills
Prior experience in construction or carpentry is highly desirable

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
