We are seeking a motivated and energetic Exterior Renovation Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
Assist with the preparation and cleaning of work sites, including surface cleaning and debris removal
Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and power tools to carry out various renovation tasks
Perform heavy lifting of materials like siding, shingles, wood panels, and other building components safely and efficiently
Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and airtight finishes on exterior surfaces
Read and interpret blueprints or project plans to understand scope and specifications for each job
Support carpentry tasks including framing, siding installation, window and door framing, and trim work
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members
Skills
Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools used in construction and renovation projects
Prior construction or handyman experience is highly desirable
Robust knowledge of carpentry techniques relevant to exterior work
Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings accurately
Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or bending
Experience with caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing exterior surfaces
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
