Xona seeks a Finance and Accounting Manager to oversee its Montreal entity’s financial activities and collaborate with the Burlingame operations team.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in implementing accounting processes that facilitate procurement and logistics in agile settings. This role offers the potential for advancement to a financial controller position as the Montreal team expands. Key Responsibilities:
Manage month-end and year-end financial closing activities
Oversee expense accounting from recording to closing




Ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivable
Support financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting
Enforce compliance with inter-entity accounting practices Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
At least four years of experience in financial operations
Familiarity with GAAP principles in Canada and the U.S.
Previous work experience in small to mid-sized startups
