Position Summary

Reporting to the Facility Sales & Operations Manager, the Part-Time Seasonal Arena Operator is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of the arena and surrounding facility. This role helps ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all users while supporting a variety of events and activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain the Zamboni and related arena equipment.
- Prepare and maintain quality ice surfaces for scheduled rentals and events.
- Maintain cleanliness of dressing rooms, public areas, and arena spaces.
- Set up and tear down for events, rentals, and community programs.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to facility users.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Previous arena or facility maintenance experience is considered an asset.
- Experience operating a Zamboni is preferred; training could be provided to the successful candidate.




- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and power tools.
- Solid work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious.

Working Conditions

- Seasonal, part-time position.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Hours will vary based on facility programming and operational needs.
