EMERGENCY MEDICINE SPECIALIST – BETHESDA REGIONAL HEALTH CENTRE

Southern Health-Santé Sud is welcoming applications from physicians who are passionate about providing emergency medicine services at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre (BRHC) located in Steinbach, Manitoba.

Steinbach is the third-largest city in Manitoba, experiencing significant population growth, attracting diverse residents. BRHC is located under an hour from Winnipeg.

Our department is funded for 36 physician hours per day, ensuring double coverage during peak volumes.
12 hours of double coverage daily.
Shift Structure: A mix of 8, 6 hour (can be doubled to 12 hours) shifts to manage patient flow effectively.
Start dates and EFT are fully flexible to match your availability.

Required Qualifications
Medical Degree with post‑graduate training in either Family Medicine (with appropriate experience), or Canadian Royal College Certification in Emergency Medicine (FRCPC).
US Applicants: American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) certification is fully recognized in Manitoba.
Current licensure or eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.

Compensation
The current hourly stipends range from $258.08 - $453.21 based on timing of shift.
