Canuel Caterers is looking for a reliable and organized Part-Time Food Program & Data Entry Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of office/data entry work and hands-on food preparation.

Position Details
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours
Hours: Approximately 4 hours per day, with one day per week being 6–8 hours
Part time: Approximately 22–24 hours per week
Location: Surrey, BC
Wage: $20/hr

Responsibilities The successful candidate will assist with a variety of administrative and kitchen duties, including:
Entering and maintaining data accurately in spreadsheets and computer systems
Preparing paperwork, lists, and records for food programs
Bagging and organizing food hampers
Portioning meals and food items in our catering/production kitchen
Packaging and labeling prepared meals
Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen duties as required
Keeping work areas clean, organized, and sanitary




Following all food safety and workplace procedures
Working efficiently to meet daily production and program deadlines
Assisting with other duties as required

Qualifications
Previous data entry, administrative, food service, or kitchen experience is an asset
Robust attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working with computers and basic data entry
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and organized
Comfortable working in a busy kitchen/production environment
Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Food Secure certification
