Transportation and Logistics Manager (NOC 10012)

Job Details
Wage: $90,480 – $120,640 per year (to be negotiated)
Hours: 30–40 hours per week
Experience: 2 to less than 3 years of relevant logistics, transportation, or warehouse management experience
Work Setting: Warehouse and transportation operations environment
Security and Safety: Valid driver’s licence required; Driver’s licence verification and driving abstract required
Who Can Apply: Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada; Other candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit

Responsibilities
Arrange shipping documentation
Oversee tracking and tracing of goods in transit
Manage fuel consumption and distance travelled
Ensure transport operations comply with applicable regulations and standards
Establish and implement policies and procedures for transportation and storage of goods
Evaluate and manage daily logistics and warehouse operations
Manage hours of service
Organize and maintain inventory control systems
Oversee scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and shipments
Plan and organize operational workflows to ensure efficiency and compliance




Prepare detailed reports for senior management on performance and operational metrics
Record and monitor cargo information
Supervise 1–2 team members
