Responsibilities
Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, harvesting and packing crops using appropriate tools and equipment
Operate farm machinery such as tractors and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Perform routine maintenance on irrigation systems and farm equipment to ensure optimal operation
Use hand tools and power tools for repairs, adjustments, and general farm tasks
Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and record keeping
Engage in heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or harvested produce as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency




Follow safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and farm procedures

Skills
Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
Experience with irrigation systems and horticultural practices
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance techniques
Robust understanding of horticulture principles and crop management
Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of manual labor
