Qualifications

- 7+ years in DevOps or platform engineering, including hands-on ownership of production AWS infrastructure
- Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code tools and practices (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Go, Java, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Solid Linux system administration and shell scripting
- Deep knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC) and cloud security best practices
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and observability tooling (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana)
- Ability to design for scalability, reliability, and cost optimization in cloud architecture
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Skilled or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred

- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
- Experience in regulated industries (pharma, healthcare, financial services)
