Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced Wheel Loader Operator to join our dynamic Quarry team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy machinery to move, load, and unload materials efficiently at the quarry site. Duties
Operate wheel loaders with precision to load materials such as Armour stone onto trucks or into designated areas
Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety standards are met
Assist with the setup and breakdown
Collaborate with team members to coordinate the protected and efficient movement of materials across the site
Utilize additional heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, and horizontal drills when required for specific tasks
Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to maintain a secure working environment
Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities

Qualifications




Proven experience operating wheel loaders in a construction setting with a strong understanding of loader operation techniques
Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including Caterpillar machinery and other brands such as excavators, graders, dozers, and backhoes
Demonstrated ability to operate related machinery such as graders, excavators, bulldozers (dozers), loaders, and horizontal drilling equipment
Valid driver’s license is required for transporting equipment and materials at the quarry
Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and perform basic maintenance tasks independently
