Responsibilities
Supervise and interact with dogs during playtime and rest periods to ensure safety and well-being
Monitor dogs for signs of stress or discomfort and respond appropriately
Assist with cleaning and maintaining the daycare area to ensure a hygienic environment
Provide basic training or socialization activities as directed by management
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog’s behavior and needs
Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or assisting with dog crates
Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries to animals or staff
Qualifications
18+
Prior experience working with animals is preferred but not required; a genuine love for dogs is essential
Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners and visitors
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently
Reliable, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods
