Orr Cleaners is looking for a dependable and hardworking Drycleaning Assistant to join our production team. This is a hands-on position assisting with the day-to-day processing of drycleaning, laundry and linen items.
What You'll Be Doing
Hanging and organizing loads of drycleaning according to due dates and production priorities
Sorting garments by colour, due date and processing requirements
Assisting with stain treatment and spotting garments
Loading and unloading drycleaning equipment
Loading washers and dryers with household and linen items
Washing and processing shirts
Inspecting garments and ensuring they are properly organized throughout the cleaning process
Keeping the production area clean, organized and running efficiently
Other general drycleaning and laundry duties as required
What We're Looking For:
Reliable,
dependable and punctual
Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift laundry bags
Organized and able to keep track of multiple orders and due dates
Positive attention to detail
Comfortable working in a quick-paced production setting
Able to follow instructions and work independently
Team player with a positive attitude
Previous drycleaning, laundry or production experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person
Hours: Monday to Friday 5am- 1pm
No weekends
