and lead plant trials for new product launches and process improvements.Organize the collection, labeling, and timely distribution of product samples for external stakeholders.Source, evaluate, and document new ingredients, packaging solutions, and processing techniques.Ensure developed products comply with government regulations, food safety, and certification requirements (i.E., Kosher, Halal)Work closely with Production, Production Planning, FSQA, Purchasing, Sales & Marketing, and Customer Fulfillment.Keep current on consumer trends, emerging technologies, and food industry innovations.Conduct market research and report findings to inform product development strategies.Execute key projects to align with overall strategyOther tasks as assigned.What We're Looking For: Post-Secondary Education in Food Science or related field (B.Sc preferred)4-7 years in Product Development or R&D in the food industryExceptional organizational and project management skillsStrong computer skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExhibits problem solving skills and demonstrates creative solutionsAbility to adapt quickly to shifting priorities, respond effectively to urgent requests, and adjust plans as neededBonus Points If You Have: Passion for Desserts and Baked Goods.Dessert Manufacturing Facility or Bakery experience.Strong BRC (or similar GFSI) knowledge or experience.In compliance with Bill 190, we confirm that this job posting is for a current vacancy within our organization.
