Duties
Prepare and cook healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines and menu plans
Serve meals to children in a friendly, efficient manner while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
Collaborate with staff to plan menus that meet nutritional requirements and accommodate allergies or special diets
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and food prep surfaces
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed




Follow all food safety protocols during meal preparation and service to prevent contamination or spoilage

Requirements
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments with a focus on food preparation and serving
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Experience in meal preparation for children or in the food industry is preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and serve children effectively
Certification in food safety or related training is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected
