Part Time ECE Teacher - NOT LOOKING FOR ECEA -THIS IS A CLOSING SHIFT YOU WILL NEED YOUR FULL ECE CERTIFICATION

Qualification Required
ECE License
First Aid and CPR
IT & Special Needs certification an asset

Required Experience
Experience working with children 3 - 5 years old
Provide a safe, nurturing and welcoming early learning setting
Familiar with aspects of emergent curriculum
Familiar with theme based curriculum
Able to facilitate circle or group times and plan engaging developmentally appropriate program activities
Committed to providing quality childcare experiences for children and families
Strong communication skills verbally and written
Ability to work flexible hours
Willingness to collaborate with teammates, is flexible and adaptable
Carry out and follow licensing requirements laid out by the Fraser Heath Department
Able to plan and participate in daily program activities such as field trips and walks
Able to maintain confidentially of families, children and staff
Committed to continual career development

This position is Monday to Friday 12:30pm -6pm with a 30min break. ECE CERTIFICATION is a MUST as this is a closing position. Wage shown does not include $6 WE. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE YOUR ECEA. You need to be fully licensed to close the centre.

Position Start Date: August 31st 2025 (Coquitlam location)
