Independent Glass Distributors (IGD) is seeking an energetic, dependable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Person.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, take pride in providing excellent customer service, be well organized, and be willing to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities. This is a great chance for someone looking for a stable, long-term career with an established company.
A valid Class 5 driver's licence and good knowledge of the Lower Mainland are required.
Responsibilities
This is a multi-functional position responsible for:
Delivering auto glass safely and efficiently to customers throughout the Lower Mainland
Picking and putting away inventory
Light general warehouse duties
Assisting with inventory organization and control
Providing professional and courteous service to customers
Maintaining a clean, protected, and organized warehouse and delivery vehicle
Required Skills & Qualifications
Valid Class 5 driver's licence
Good knowledge of the Lower Mainland and local roadways
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic computer knowledge
Good organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dependable, punctual, and safety conscious
Physically capable of handling auto glass and warehouse duties
Previous delivery or warehouse experience is an asset
