Job Title: Data Modeler

Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler with a solid Payments/Banking background to design and maintain scalable, high-quality data models supporting payment systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver accurate, effective, and compliant data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Translate business requirements into scalable data models.
Support payment transaction and processing systems.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with standards.
Collaborate with engineering teams on SQL, ETL, and data warehouse initiatives.
Work with stakeholders to understand and deliver business needs.

Required Skills
Robust experience in Data Modeling.
Hands-on experience in the Payments/Banking domain.
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.
Knowledge of ETL and Data Warehousing concepts.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
