Qualifications
Meets the staffing qualifications according to the Regulations and Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021
Enrollment or completion of a Food Service Worker (FSW) Certificate is preferred
Current Food Handlers Certificate
A current Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector
Evidence of Tuberculosis screening
Must be able to perform all essential duties of the position with or without accommodation, which may include bending, pushing, pulling, lifting and repetitive movements
Responsibilities
Assists with food service to residents
Serves meals according to therapeutic diets and portion guidelines
Maintains sanitation standards in accordance with public health regulations
Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment, dishes, and work areas
