Arne’s Welding Ltd. a leading manufacturer of Aggregate and Lowbed Trailers in Western Canada is seeking a Custodian to join our team.

The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and general maintenance of the facility.

Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 12:00pm or 4:00pm to 8:00pm

Wage: $17/hr

Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and secure workplace for daily plant operations
Dusting surfaces
Sweeping floors
Vacuuming floors and carpets
Mopping floors, including operation of the industrial floor cleaner throughout the plant
Cleaning and sanitizing washrooms and locker rooms
Refilling soap, paper towel, and toilet paper dispensers
Emptying office garbage bins
Dusting window sills and other surfaces
Cleaning production support areas and common spaces
Performing general custodial duties as required

Qualifications:
1 year of custodian or related cleaning experience preferred




Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is an asset.
Able to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs
Able to climb ladders and stairs
Able to stand, walk, squat, kneel, or sit for extended periods depending on the task
Able to perform repetitive hand movements requiring full use of both hands
Able to work with arms fully extended
Able to work with arms above shoulder level
Reliability and punctuality
