Sedona Care Communities introduction:Sedona Care Communities is a local Niagara Region based senior care organization that believes in the concept of aging in place. Together with Pioneer Elderly Care and Chapel Heights Senior Community, our St. Catharines based care facilities specializing in dementia care and our Niagara Falls based retirement and care home respectively, offer a full spectrum of senior living options from independent living to full care. Pioneer Elderly Care, founded in 2012 provides dedicated dementia care in a home that mirrors a residential home setting. Since opening our doors at Chapel Heights in August of 2020, we have built a reputation for providing engaging and compassionate care.At this juncture, Sedona Care Communities is looking to expand the Pioneer Elderly Care model and locations across the Niagara Region, starting with the addition of homes at the Chapel Heights Property in Niagara Falls. Executive LeadershipOverviewWe are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Vice President of Development to lead the strategic expansion of our Pioneer Elderly Care model through the development of new facilities. This role will oversee the full lifecycle of development—from site selection and feasibility through construction, opening, and stabilization — with an intentional, long-term transition into operations leadership as the portfolio matures.This is a unique prospect for a development executive who wants to build assets and ultimately help run them.The success of this initiative, and the role as Vice President of Development will largely be based on ensuring the design and construction of these facilities result in resident satisfaction, facility appeal, and operational efficiencies.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment Leadership· Lead the end-to-end development of new senior care facilities.· Ensure the design phase achieves a very appealing facility and supports optimal operational functionality and efficiencies.· Oversee entitlements, zoning, design, and construction in partnership with architects, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.· Coordinate financing efforts, including working with lenders, investors, and internal stakeholders.· Establish development timelines, budgets,
