Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Labourer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from restoration and renovation to current builds, utilizing your hands-on skills and construction knowledge. As a Construction Labourer, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing essential tasks that keep projects moving forward efficiently and safely.

Duties
Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up scaffolding or safety barriers
Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as caulking, painting, flooring installation, tile laying, and carpentry work
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks
Support plumbing, welding, and restoration activities as directed by supervisors or skilled tradespeople
Mix and apply materials such as paint, caulk, or adhesives; perform basic demolition or site cleanup as needed
Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
and secure handling of tools and materials
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards
Qualifications
Prior construction experience or a strong willingness to learn on the job
Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools used in construction tasks
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with guidance if necessary
Knowledge of construction safety practices and procedures
Experience with carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, or restoration is a plus
Basic understanding of plumbing, welding, or painting techniques is beneficial but not required
Strong physical stamina; able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
