Construction Labourer

DeFord Contracting Inc. is looking for an experienced and hardworking Construction Labourer for Civil Construction city projects in and around the Greater Edmonton Area.

Responsibilities:
Assist with gravel/base and earthworks activities
Shovel, rake, and compact materials such as gravel, asphalt, and soil.
Operate small tools and equipment as required.
Assist with setup and cleanup of job sites, including traffic control measures.
Load and unload construction materials.
Follow directions from foremen and equipment operators.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Comply with company safety policies and occupational health and safety standards.

Qualifications:
1+ years of Civil Construction experience
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
Strong work ethic, reliability,



and willingness to learn.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Experience with checking grades; an asset
Must have the ability to lift 50lbs
